Separate employee access from manager responsibilities

Use the right access for each person instead of sharing a single company password.

Start with individual accounts

Each user has a sign-in and a company membership. Employees use their own clock. Administrative roles can access relevant company records. Only an owner should grant elevated administrative access.

Review who actually needs access

A foreperson who needs to see attendance does not automatically need billing access or every personnel detail. Keep your team list current and remove access when responsibilities change. Test role expectations before introducing real employee data.

Protect the account as well as the application

Choose a unique password and store it securely. Keep shared devices supervised, log out when finished and use the contact form to report suspected unauthorized access.

Questions from small teams

Can a manager create another owner?

The invitation flow requires owner authority for elevated administrative roles.

Should everyone use one owner account?

No. Shared owner credentials make accountability and access control much harder.
