Gates Timekeeping · terms

Try the workflow. Keep the responsibilities clear.

These terms describe the current early-access pilot, not a paid production service. Last updated October 17, 2026.

The pilot

Gates Timekeeping provides software for recording and reviewing employee time. The current pilot is free, collects no payment card and does not automatically enroll you in a paid subscription. Planned prices and roadmap features may change before a paid release.

Your account and authority

Use accurate account information, create individual user access and safeguard credentials. An administrator should have authority to manage the company’s employee records. Do not use the service to falsify records, invade privacy or attempt access to another company’s data.

Payroll remains your responsibility

Gates Timekeeping does not run payroll, calculate taxes, file returns or decide which time is legally compensable. Verify dates, break treatment, corrections and exported totals with your payroll process. Keep your existing required records and an independent recovery copy while evaluating the pilot.

Beta and roadmap features

An Android test build is not an approved store release. Offline punching, paired kiosks, direct payroll integrations and other roadmap capabilities are unavailable unless explicitly released. Do not rely on a feature merely because it appears in a development screenshot.

Data and support requests

Your company retains responsibility for its employee records and permitted use of them. Account access, correction, export and deletion questions can be submitted through the contact form. No guaranteed support-response time or service-level agreement is offered in the free pilot.

Existing agreements

No new lifetime deal is offered. Any separately accepted previous agreement remains subject to its original terms; this page is not a unilateral replacement for those obligations.

Before general release

Paid billing, additional processing terms, formal legal review and production readiness checks remain separate launch work. Do not treat these plain-language pilot terms as a compliance certificate or a substitute for advice about your employment obligations.
